My aunt and her family are moving from Texas to Wyoming. On their way they stopped to stay with family for a few days. They first stayed with his family in Enterprise then went up to Kanosh to stay with my Grama and Grampa.
Yesterday, we traveled up to see them and more of my family on my mom's side. It was so good to Paula and her cute little family. It was the first time we've all been able to see their baby who's ten months old. Her other two are getting so big! As are all my cousins... (It actually makes me feel old.)We were all excited to see them! I was so glad to see her again!!
We are hoping we will be able to go up and see them, go hunting or anything really. We hope the rest of their journey will be in safety (since we've been having so many storms... and they are moving to northern wyoming).
It was fun having Brooke play with her little cousins we hardly ever see. Being able to see my grandma, aunts, uncles, and grandpa.

Appendecitis

It's been pretty eventful weekend for Mike's family. Friday Mike's little brother stayed home from school sick. Later that afternoon his parents to him to Beaver ER. After doing a cat scan found out it was his appendix. When they took him in for surgery awhile later they found his appendix had actually ruptured. He just came home from the hospital today. Mike, Brooke and I went to visit him Sunday afternoon. Then Brooke and I went with Mike's parents to see him yesterday morning.
He is doing much better now, but is out from school for the week.

Christmas

Christmas was rather different this year for us. We spent Wednesday to Saturday with my parents in Aurora. We normally spend Christmas at home, but due to the present we are giving my parents we needed to be there and it was really the only time Shilo and Ryan could be there too.
So before Christmas we had all had a cold at some point or another. Brooke and Mike were just getting over it. Well when we left Wednesday I started in on a sore throat. Which only worsened as we were there (although the work we were doing didn't help any at all). We all worked throughout Christmas, unfortunately. We also didn't get it finished which was a huge disapointment, but my parents love our gift. We are remodeling/finishing the bathroom in the basement. We had to tear down the old drywall and put up new. Due to the year it was built and the contractor doing anything in the house is a major pain in the butt!!
Brooke had fun but it was a little difficult for her to have to wait between presents for her aunts and uncles to open their gifts too. But she had fun.
Saturday we followed my parents and some siblings over to my Grandparents in Kanosh for a few hours to visit, since we couldn't stay due to the unplanned length of time we stayed at my parents'. After we headed home to spend a little time with the nephews since we wouldn't see them again before they went back to their mom's.
All in all it was a good Christmas. Mike spoiled me this year. And... he even went shopping once again without me and I didn't know anything that I was getting. I was excited!!
After Christmas however, my cold worsened. Mike's did too but not as bad as mine. He is finally over it, but I am still wondering if it is lingering with me. ARGH!!! I want it to be warm. I want to air out my house.........
Anyway We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas (even though this is a few weeks late)
