Twilight
We went and seen Twilight Friday night (yes I was surprised Mike didn't really throw a fit about going... although he did try to pawn his place off to his friends wife...) I have to say I was extremely disappointed in the movie. It had the basic story line of the book but was so different. I expected it to be a different... always is with book to movie... but I didn't think it would be quite like that. It was good and funny... but it seemed to just jump and not really run smoothly together. And some of the characters just didn't seem to fit them like Jasper, Carlisle, and Alice. Well I won't go into more detail about things.... I've never read the Harry Potter books but everyone seems to love the movies and the books. I guess I was just hoping it would be like them. But if some people are right and they made the movie for teenage girls well I guess it fits. Anyway that's just my opinion. I am anxious to see if they continue on with the rest of the series...

Em, I went and saw Twilight on opening night and have to say myself that I too was little disappointed. I thought there were parts that needed a filler or something because, like you said, the flow wasn't very smooth. AND...there were so many giggly, screaming girls there that it was a little distracting. I need to see it again so I can REALLY watch it! And yes, they are making New Moon into a movie. I read about it on Stephenie's website.
