Code Blue!!

I just had to write about this. Sunday evening after eating dinner Mike, Brooke, and I piled in with Mike's parents little brother and grandma to head to Cedar to go see Mike's older brother in the hospital. Danny had been having pains for a week I think, he thought it was his appendix. Well the tests showed that his appendix was fine, but he was still having pains. His doctor decided to do surgery, get in and see what it really looked like. We all get to the hospital while Dan was still in recovery so we are sitting in his little (I mean little) outpatient room talking. Now mind you there is 8 of us in this little room where his bed still has to fit. Their Grandma was standing near my mother-in-law which happened to be about where his bed is going to go when she leans against the wall and hits a button. At first we were thinking it was just calling the nurse when you hear throughout the hall "Code Blue Room ...." We're all crap! Luckily the nurses at the nurse's desk knew that Dan was still in recovery and it was only his family in his room, one came to check on us. By then we are all laughing. She brings Grandma Rose a chair and warns us that next time there will be about 10 more people rushing into the room, so we better not hit it again. By the time they brought Dan in I think the whole floor knew what happened, cause everybody mentioned it, including his doctor when he came by. It was really hilarious. It doesn't sound like it should be, and we felt bad cause Grandma Rose was so embarrassed. But we were all glad that the staff knew it wasn't likely to be real.
