Later we headed to the park for lunch and of course games. I was sitting happily in the shade half the time this year (Mike and I went down at 7:30 to set up my dad's canopy so we could have some shade), while Amy took Brooke around. I love having little siblings, they willingly take their neice to do things. It's kind of a nice break, even though I didn't get many pictures. Brooke didn't care much about the games she wanted to play on the big blow up slide or the playground. But she did race this year, she wanted to race to me only, but she did race and she did awesome!! Although I had to laugh, cause when Scott Gurney gave her her prize of cookies, she gave him a dirty look before he left then said, "I didn't want this". Man was she upset, I don't know what she wanted but it definitely wasn't cookies.
Of course we went to the parade then back to my dad and mom's. She was having fun the whole weekend. Luckily we ended up getting her in bed around 10:00 Saturday night. Sunday we traveled over to Kanosh to see my uncle baptize his son Jaydn. It was so fun to see that side again. Especially my aunt Paula who now lives in northern Wyoming. (The pictures went completely out of order, and it's not working right for me, but here they are.)
The picture with a baby, Amy, Brooke, and another girl (whose name is Ashley I believe) is the pony ride. Brooke had already gone on it, but Shilo wanted a picture with her foster baby and Brooke. So Brooke and Amy went and we quickly took a picture of the baby before.
The picture with my dad and Brooke is really dark, but I had to post it. My dad is one of her favorite people, has been since she was born. While lighting our own fireworks she got in a chair next to my dad to watch and I had to get another picture of them together.
