Easter

So late as always but... Here is our Easter weekend. We went camping for Easter. It was a pretty nice weekend for the most part, it didn't really start raining until Sunday when we left. Mike's parents decided to come out and camp with us, they brought along  the boys (Mike's nephews) due to mono illness at their dad's house. Brooke had a blast playing with them again. They haven't seen each other much in the last year, like they had become accustomed to for the few years before. They all loved to help Mike get wood for the fire, Nate especially loved to try and help chop the wood up.  They also went on little four wheeler rides with grandpa, lots of playing in the dirt (their specialty), rolling eggs on Sunday, found a horny toad and many many lizards, and even had a little easter egg treasure hunt. McKenna absolutely loved being outside so much and the fire! One morning I was cleaning things up, getting us ready, etc. so we hadn't gone outside yet, and Kenna was getting so upset. Mike and I couldn't figure out why she was so ornery until someone opened the door and Kenna shut right up and headed for the door. She also got our fill of eating dirt and rocks, not hers. Her dad would trade her for a big rock, she would drop it and grab for the little rocks and a hand full of dirt. When Mike would take it away she would throw a fit. lol! It was a fun weekend and I cannot wait to go camping again!
